Class Registration:
To reserve a spot in any of our jewelry classes or workshops, registration is required. Registration can be completed through this website. -
Payment:
Full payment is required at the time of registration to confirm your spot. -
Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by Student:
If you need to cancel your registration, we offer a 7 day cancellation window prior to the start of the class or workshop for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable. -
Cancellation by Studio:
In the unlikely event that a class is canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance, and you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future class.

Punctuality:
Please arrive on time for your class. Late arrivals can disrupt the class and may result in missed instructions. -
Class Participation:
Classes and workshops are hands-on experiences, and students are expected to engage fully in the creative process. If you have any special needs or require accommodations, please notify us in advance so we can make arrangements. -
Personal Belongings:
We ask that students leave personal items in the designated area to maintain a clean and safe workspace. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Health & Safety

Safety & Conduct:
All students must follow safety instructions when using tools and equipment. Jewelry making involves sharp tools, heat, and other potentially hazardous materials, so we require that students adhere to all safety guidelines provided by the instructor. -
Dress Code:
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Long hair should be tied back, and avoid wearing loose jewelry that could get caught in tools or equipment. -
Health Concerns:
If you have any health concerns (such as allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions) that could affect your participation, please inform the instructor before the class begins.
Materials & Tools

Provided Materials:
Materials and tools will be provided for most classes. If you are required to bring specific items, you will be notified in advance. -
Personal Supplies:
For certain classes, students may bring their own tools or materials if specified by the instructor. Please make sure that any personal equipment is in good working order. -
Damaged Equipment:
If you accidentally damage a tool or equipment during class, please inform the instructor immediately. Minor damage may be covered by the studio, but excessive damage may require reimbursement.
Studio Environment

Cleanliness:
Each student is responsible for cleaning their own workspace before leaving the studio. Please return all tools to their designated locations and dispose of any scrap materials or waste properly. -
Noise & Distractions:
Please keep noise to a minimum, especially if other classes are in session. We encourage a respectful and focused environment to support everyone’s creative process.
Photography & Social Media

Photography for Personal Use:
Students are welcome to take photos of their work for personal use. If you wish to take photos of the studio, instructor, or fellow students, please ask for permission first. -
Social Media & Marketing:
From time to time, the studio may photograph or record videos during class for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures). By participating in a class or workshop, you consent to being photographed or filmed unless otherwise stated.
Refund & Reschedule Policy

Refunds:
Full refunds are provided for cancellations made at least 7 before the class begins. For cancellations made within 7 days, a partial refund or studio credit may be issued at the discretion of the studio. -
Rescheduling:
Students who wish to reschedule their class or workshop must do so at least 7 days in advance. If a student does not attend a scheduled class without prior notification, no refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

Private Groups & Events:
We offer private workshops for groups and special events. Please contact us directly to discuss your event's needs, and we’ll be happy to work with you to create a customized experience.

Respect for Others:
Our studio values creativity, collaboration, and respect. Disrespectful behavior, including bullying, harassment, or disruptive conduct, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class without a refund. -
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination, including but not limited to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or ability. All students should feel welcome, safe, and supported.
Policy on Exclusion of Certain Convicted Felons
Purpose
To ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff, Atelier Silver & Stone is committed to maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment. As part of this commitment, we reserve the right to exclude individuals with certain criminal convictions from enrollment in our programs.
Policy
Atelier Silver & Stone recognizes the importance of providing educational opportunities to all individuals; however, for the protection of our students and staff, we reserve the right to deny admission or to withdraw any student found to have a history of convictions that may pose a risk to the safety and integrity of our studio community.
- Felony convictions involving violence, including but not limited to assault, battery, or homicide.
- Felony convictions for sexual offenses, including sexual assault, exploitation, or abuse.
- Felony convictions related to drugs or crimes that may affect the studio’s ability to provide a safe learning environment.
Assessment Process
In cases where an applicant or current student has a criminal history, the studio will review the nature and circumstances of the offense on a case-by-case basis. Factors such as the type of conviction, the time elapsed since the offense, evidence of rehabilitation, and any other relevant circumstances will be taken into consideration.
Confidentiality
All information regarding an applicant's or student’s criminal history will be handled confidentially and in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Applicants or students will be provided an opportunity to explain any convictions in their background during the application or review process. Final Decision The decision to exclude or admit an applicant or student with a criminal history will be made by the studio management. This decision will be communicated in writing, and if an applicant is excluded, they will be provided with information on the right to appeal the decision, if applicable.
